The person who started spreading this freebie around is known for posting fake offers in the past, including (but not limited to): 

• Solar Charger - fake sub-domain, nobody ever received the freebie
• Free Organic Tote Bag - nobody ever received it
• Free Headband - nobody ever received it
• Free Mousepad - nobody received the mousepad, instead they received lots of spam in their email
• Free Body Lotion - nobody ever received it, and of course more spam

Someone actually called the store and asked if the offer is real and that's what they got:

"Called the phone number 1 312.322.9094 - First I heard a message "sorry, the user hasn't set up a voice mail" I thought that was odd for a business. 

Called back....someone answered "hello" - I asked if I was speaking with Chicago Fabric Yarn Button Company - "yeah, yeah, yeah" - Are you offering a free march madness towel? - NO"

That person actually lives in Chicago and knows this business, but she also said they moved a while ago and the store now has different address. The page was created with an old address:

"I live in Chicago....

OFFER IS FAKE - Business is not....but they're not on Wabash anymore, they moved (do your homework before making a fake FB page) - They're on ADAMS St. now."

It's also shady that pictures are hosted on yelp.com instead of the store's real website.
